How can I become a member?

You can become a member by registering from this portal and paying the membership fee.

What is the size of FUE membership?

FUE membership comprises of over 600 members and rising.

How much is membership subscription fee?

The membership subscription fees depend on which category a member chooses to join under as shown in the membership packages.Kindly note that FUE members only pay annual subscription. There are no registration fees for membership.

What is the value for membership?

Every membership category has specific benefits attached to it. The higher the membership category, the more benefits received by the member. General membership benefits include lobbying and advocacy, advisory services, networking at FUE events, access to FUE paid for services at a discounted rate, and a dedicated relationship manager among others.

How can one participate in FUE leadership?

An Employer that desires to attain a leadership position in FUE must ensure their organization is an active member and diligently pays their membership subscription annually. During the Annual General Meeting (AGM), candidates are nominated and voting is presided over by the election manager. Elections are held after every two years and winning is by majority vote.

What kind of policy issues does FUE engage in?

FUE makes analysis on labour and other social-economic issues that are of interest to our members specifically the four aspects of decent work such as employment creation, rights at work, social protection and social dialogue.

How do you support the general improvement of employment?

We train managers and employers on best practices that entail employment relations and labour law compliance. We also update/develop policies, facilitate negotiation and conduct disciplinary hearings to promote harmony in the workplace.
